Shen Jun
Artistic Director and Founder
Founder and the artistic director of Shen Jun Movement Effect based Austin area. Shen born in Mainland China, danced from high school. He earned his bachelor degree of dance major at Beijing Capital Normal University. He attended Beijing Dance/LDTX as a dancer and choreographer after his graduation. In the past several years, he has performed and choreographed many dance works for many worldwide dance festivals and events including Dance Salad Festival, Beijing Dance Festival, Fall For Dance Festival, Busan International Dance Festival, and etc. He has collaborated with many different artists from various kinds of field as well. In addition, he has had rich dance teaching experiences in many educational institutes and dance studios nationally and internationally, such as Virginia Common University, Shanghai Drama Academy, Lines Ballet training Program, Austin Community College, Blue Lapis Light. He was invited to join the graduate dance program of UT Austin in 2013, and earned his Master degree of Fine Arts in the May of 2016. Now, he is working at Sansori High School as a movement and Tai-Chi instructor, as well as a modern dance instructor and guest artist with Blue Lapis Light. the artistic director of Shen Jun Movement Effect based Austin area.
Brett Reeves
Title
leads the B.A.R. Band and helps with production and promotion for Shen Jun Movement Effect. He is also a freelance writer and teacher. Brett served as Music Director for this project.
